CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The Douala Maritime Museum's holiday program for kids is in full swing. Some one hundred kids were at the museum this Friday, July 15, and participated in two workshops. The first anchored on maritime safety and environmental protection while the second was a drawing, painting and paper sculpture workshop.

Coordinated by Mr. Kaimo Dieudonnée, an instructor in the National Marine Force, the first workshop consisted of a theoretical phase based on the different types of ships, and a practical phase on the parts of a ship. Many of the mini champions enjoyed participating in the drawing and painting workshop during which they were able to express their creativity.
The kids left the museum in high spirits and visibly very satisfied with the activities of the day.  Join us on Wednesday 20 July for another fun-filled session.
