The Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) is taking part in the fourth edition of the Economic Actors and Local Development Fair (SAEDEL) to run from 18 to 25 April 2026 in Kribi. This year’s edition is holding under the theme “Urban Development, Real Estate and Sustainability: Catalysts for Local Development”, a theme Mr. Patrice Assiga Eyene, Director of the organising firm Mon Communicateur, further elaborated upon in his speech.
The event’s official opening ceremony held on Monday, 20 April 2026, was characterised by speeches and ended in the cutting of the symbolic ribbon by Mr. Felix Nguele Nguele, Governor of the South Region. About sixty exhibitors comprising public and private enterprises, alongside SMEs, were present to showcase their services and know-how in the processing of local products.
At CNSC’s stand, the high-profile visitors were received by Mr. Dippah Kayesse, Head of CNSC’s Communication and Public Relations Division. “In alignment with this year’s theme, the CNSC already positions itself as a local development catalyst”, he explained to the Governor and his suite. He recalled the many activities and various services that the local populations gladly develop around CNSC Trucker Accommodations Centres. “We can cite the example of the periodic market at the CNSC Ngoulentang Trucker Accommodation Centre in the Centre Region and around the CNSC storage facility at Abang Minko'o in the South Region, which has been refurbished to serve the local populations”, Mr. Dippah Kayesse went on to add.
After the visit, the Governor of the South Region acknowledged CNSC’s active participation in this year’s edition of SAEDEL.
