CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The Senior Divisional Officer of Nyong-et-Mfoumou Division, Mr. François Franklin Etapa, paid an official visit to the trucker facility constructed by the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) at Ngoulentang, in the Mengang district, on Thursday 30 November 2023. The visit was part of his official tour of his jurisdiction of responsibility to meet with his fellow compatriots and assess socio-economic activities.

Administrative and political authorities, CNSC officials, road transporters, the local population and the forces of law and order all made the trip to the CNSC Ngoulentang Trucker Accommodation Centre, which marked the second stage of the tour that began on 23 November 2023 in Ayos.

On his arrival, the senior civil administrator received a bouquet of flowers on behalf of CNSC's General Manager to wish him a warm welcome to the Ngoulentang trucker facility.  He was then welcomed by Mrs. Zo'obo Afane Nadine Valérie Foumane, District Officer of the Mengang District, Mr. Ayia Gabriel Bienvenue, Mayor of Mengang, and the staff of the facility led by Mr. Owono Bob Philippe Olivier, CNSC Centre Regional Branch Manager.

This visit enabled the senior administrator to officially tour this major achievement of the CNSC and to appreciate all the improvements and efforts made by Top Management to optimise the operation of this trade facilitation infrastructure commissioned in October 2022. He made this clear during an onsite working session where he congratulated CNSC's General Manager for the work he had accomplished.

The tour, which will end on 16 December 2023, will continue with visits to the other three districts of the division, namely Endom, Nyakokombo and Akonolinga.
