CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

Cameroon's trade promotion activities in the Kingdom of Morocco reached a new milestone on 26 December 2025. This was materialized by a business meeting with some fifteen Moroccan businessmen and investors at the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) in Casablanca.

This was an opportunity for the representative of the Cameroon National Shippers’ (CNSC), Mrs. Claire Onana Takouchop, Director for Shippers’ Assistance, to highlight Cameroon’s business opportunities, especially through its ports and road corridors, which are considered major levers for sub-regional and international trade.

Discussions delved into the progress of trade facilitation infrastructures being constructed by the CNSC with the aim to improve the working conditions of shippers and boost the competitiveness of Cameroon's foreign trade.

This presentation aroused considerable interest on the part of the representative of the African Sovereign Investors Forum (ASIF), paving the way for a possible partnership between the two organizations in the weeks ahead.
