In line with the programme of activities for this year's celebration of the 40th edition of International Women's Rights Day at the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), CNSC Ladies visited the Douala Maritime Museum on the afternoon of 7 March 2025.
It was in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that they discovered the different fun and educational attractions the Douala Maritime Museum offers to its visitors. Among these are the Navigation Simulator, the Storm Room, and artifacts relating to Cameroon's rich maritime history.
Their visit ended with the screening of the film “Shirley”, which recounts the success story of a persevering and determined woman. Shirley is an inspiration and role model for many women, and through her commitment she has remained a lasting legacy in women's circles.
