Female staff of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC Ladies) organised a series of activities to mark the celebration of the 41st edition of International Women's Rights Day, celebrated on 8 March 2026 under the theme “Rights, Justice, Action: For All Women and Girls”.
The grand parade at the Besseke ceremonial ground was presided over by Mr. Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua, Governor of the Littoral Region, flanked by representatives of public administrative bodies and private companies based in Douala.
Confident and relaxed in their green 2026 IWD fabric, the CNSC Ladies were applauded as they marched past the grandstand.
The Douala parade was one more activity to crown the week-long activities organised by CNSC Ladies, even for underprivileged children. Through these social outreach initiatives, the ladies demonstrated their commitment to one key value - unity.
The 2026 celebration of International Women's Rights Day at the CNSC continued in a convivial and festive atmosphere as the women shared a meal offered by the General Manager, together with their male colleagues. Invited musicians and comedians added a special touch to this year’s celebration of International Women's Day at the CNSC.
