CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) took part in the 2nd edition of the MARITIMAFRICA WEEK Forum held from 10 to 12 September 2025 in Lome - Togo. The event had as theme: “A Bright Blue Future in Africa”.

 

CNSC’s delegation comprised Mr. Emmanuel Sone Makoge, Service Head for Import Assistance, and Mrs. Soureya Hamadou, Service Head for Operations at the CNSC Centre Regional Office in Yaounde.

 

Organised by the group MARITIMAFRICA, this get-together was attended by major stakeholders from the ports, economic, and university sectors who discussed key topics such as maritime safety and security, port performance, digital transformation, climate resilience, and the protection of marine ecosystems.

 

Through this participation, the CNSC has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Cameroonian shippers and actively contributing to promoting a sustainable and competitive maritime economy in Africa.
