A group of Belgian investors will in Cameroon from 21 to 24 April 2024 to visit the economic capital Douala and the port city of Kribi. The purpose of the visit is to explore business opportunities in the country targeting sectors like agri-food, infrastructure, energy, construction materials, information and communication technologies, as well as legal and financial services.

Organised by hub.brussels, the Brussels Agency for Entrepreneurship which specialises in supporting companies in their economic transition, the mission aims to strengthen trade relations between Cameroon and Belgium.  

Belgium was Cameroon's 7th largest export destination in 2022, coming just behind China. While Belgium is not one of Cameroon's Top 10 suppliers, it imported 386,800 tonnes of goods worth 133 billion CFA francs, representing 3.8% of Cameroon's overall exports.
