SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, is leading a delegation from the CNSC on a working visit to Kousseri in the Far North Region.

On 17 February 2026, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda was received by the traditional and administrative authorities of the locality, represented by HRH Mahamat Abba, Sultan of Kousseri and Mr. Fombele Mathias, Senior Divisional Officer for Logone and Chari.

Discussions primarily focused on CNSC activities and projects that seek to promote cross-border trade between Cameroon, Chad and Nigeria in this tri-border region.

This visit by CNSC’s General Manager is in line with the institution’s strategy to collaborate with local administrative authorities in boosting the local economy and promoting cross-border trade with neighbouring Chad and Nigeria.
