On 29 December 2020, the Director General of Cameroon Customs, Mr. Fongod Edwin Nuvaga, who is the sitting Board Chairman of the  Foreign Trade Operations Single Window (GUCE) chaired the official launch of e-GUCE services in the CNSC premises at the Yaounde-Nsimalen International Airport. "These activities are aimed at facilitating the dematerialisation of foreign trade procedures," the visibly satisfied GUCE GM, Mr. Isidore Bayiha, declared.

The event was attended by many foreign trade players, notably the CNSC which hosted the event in its premises. "By offering its premises to GUCE, the CNSC reaffirms its commitment to work with all partners within the framework of the promotion of foreign trade in Cameroon", explained the CNSC Deputy General Manager, Mr. Younouss Soungui who represented the General Manager, who was unavoidably absent. As a reminder, the CNSC office at the Yaounde Airport has been operational since 4 June 2018.

At the end of the event, the organiser thanked the World Bank for offering the IT equipment and interconnection devices. He also extended his gratitude to CAMPOST and the Société Générale du Cameroun for offering then online payments applications.
