SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

On 23 March 2026, the esplanade of the Ministry of External Relations (MINREX) in Yaoundé hosted the festivities marking International Francophonie Day (JIF). Themed “Generation Peace: Contributions of Youth for a More Peaceful World” the 2026 edition was presided over by His Excellency Lejeune Mbella Mbella, Minister of External Relations.


The celebration was attended by members of Government, the Diplomatic Corps, representatives of international organizations, civil society actors, and Cameroonian youth. This year’s focus was on the central role of youth in the pursuit of peace and dialogue.


Representing CNSC’s Centre Regional Branch, Mr. Owono Bob Philippe Olivier, Branch Manager, assisted by Mr. Kamga Monte Steve Yvan, Service Head for Shippers’ Assistance, were present at the festivities. With its participation, the Cameroon National Shippers' Council thus reaffirms its commitment to initiatives promoting peace and cross-cultural dialogue within the Francophone community.
